LaLa Land

Hey everyone!!
At the weekend, my Mum took me to see the new film, La La Land, which has been a huge hit. Lots of my friends had watched La La Land so I knew I had to go and see it. We went to the 'Everyman' cinema in Gerrards Cross and it was probably the nicest cinema I've ever been to. You can book tickets for the Everyman cinema here. Today I will be doing a review of La La Land.

The movie is a musical so it starts off with a song with lots of people dancing and singing on the street. The movie is about a woman whose dream is to be an actress and a man whose dream is to bring back Jazz and open his own Jazz club. The man and woman keep bumping in to each other at restaurants and parties and then they eventually fall in love. The rest of the film shows the story of how the two try and pursue their dreams and how it brings them together. Or apart...

I really enjoyed this movie and I'm happy that I got to see it. All of the songs were really good and the dances that they did were great. I really liked the story line but I wasn't expecting what happened at the end. (I'm not going to give away too much detail for the people who haven't watched it.) I think the length of the movie was really good and I would definitely recommend this film to anyone who hasn't watched it!!
